Biography
Founded in Copenhagen in 2012, Steel Inferno continues the legacy of old school speed metal through relentless riffs, aggressive live performances and dedication to the underground metal scene.
Steel Inferno is a raging speed metal machinery, straight outta Copenhagen! Steel Inferno was formed in 2012 and has since its formation released four full length albums – "Aesthetics of Decay" (2016, Inferno Records / Deadbangers Productions), "…And the Earth Stood Still" (2020, Deadbangers Productions), "Evil Reign" (2022, From the Vaults) and "Rush Of Power" (2024, From the Vaults). Steel Inferno also released a demo in 2014 and a 7" in 2016 called "Arcade Warrior". Steel Inferno have shared stages with Witch Cross, Burning Witches, Tyranex, Cauldron, Ranger, Altar of Oblivion and Iron Fire, and played festivals like Muskelrock (SE), Metal Meltdown (DE), Tornvang, Heavy Agger, Metal Magic, Odense Metalfest and Næstved Metalfest in Denmark. The band was also featured at Copenhell 2023 on the back of the success of "Evil Reign". The third album – "Evil Reign" – was crafted after joining forces with new frontman Chris Rostoff in spring 2020. After signing with From the Vaults late 2021, the band entered Angioni Studios in early 2022. The result took the band closer to early US power metal — Helstar, Jag Panzer, early Fates Warning — fused with their pre-thrash roots in Agent Steel, Savage Grace and early Slayer / Metallica. "Rush Of Power" was unleashed November 29th, 2024. Speed metal like it's 1985.
